Assembled by Matthew Fortrose, from South Australia, the works exist as an extension of his mural and studio work and act as a way of better understanding balance and space.
Exploring the functionality of common materials and composing them with the motive of creating continuity throughout the space, the works look to give alternative purpose to items more commonly used for work and play.
Working with only necessary elements and keeping within a 4 day timeline to complete from start to finish, “LiteWeight” is designed to be as fun as it is visually stimulating, suggesting the elements in each piece as being as heavy as they are “Lite”.
